Passive safety innovation for mutual survival.
The continuous body is designed for all-direction collision shielding, combining a survival zone and load-pass frame for injury reduction. A shock-absorbing frontal section has hood, windshield base, and wiper pivots that help reduce collision damage and pedestrian injury. In addition to dual SRS airbags and side curtain airbags, a new dual-chamber side airbag system helps provide optimum torso and pelvis protection for front seat occupants.
3-point ELR seatbelts with load limiter, pretensioner ,and lap pretensioner are available for front and rear seats, including the rear center position. In the rear collision, an active head restraint system help prevent neck injuries. |
